Local SEO that puts you in the Orlando Map Pack

Three listings. That is all Google shows in the local pack, and they take the majority of clicks for service searches. Local SEO is the work of becoming one of those three for the searches your customers actually make.

The short version

What Local SEO actually does

When someone in Winter Park searches “roof repair near me”, Google ranks the results using three signals: relevance (does your profile match the query), distance (how close are you to the searcher) and prominence (how well known and well reviewed are you). You cannot move your office into every suburb — but relevance and prominence are entirely within your control, and they are what separates the businesses in the pack from the ones on page two.

Our local SEO programme is built around those two levers. We make your Google Business Profile the most complete and relevant one in your category, we make your business information consistent everywhere Google looks for corroboration, we publish pages that genuinely serve each area you cover, and we build a review habit into your operations so prominence keeps compounding.

Scope

What is included every month

Six workstreams, each with defined outputs. Nothing here is a placeholder line item.

Google Business Profile build-out

Primary and secondary category selection based on what actually ranks in your market, complete service and product listings, attributes, business description, Q&A seeding, geo-tagged photography guidance and a weekly Posts cadence. We also lock down the profile against unauthorised edits and monitor for suggested changes.

Citation audit & NAP consistency

We audit your name, address and phone number across the primary aggregators and 60+ directories, fix conflicts, remove duplicates and claim unmanaged listings. Inconsistent NAP data is one of the most common reasons an otherwise strong business cannot break into the pack.

Geo landing pages that are not doorway pages

One page per service and service area, each with genuinely local content: projects completed nearby, permit and code considerations, local pricing context, travel coverage and area-specific FAQs. Thin duplicated city pages get filtered by Google — these do not.

Review generation & response

A workflow that requests reviews at the moment of highest satisfaction, plus response templates for positive, neutral and negative reviews. Review recency, velocity, volume and keyword content all influence local rankings.

Local link & relevance building

Chamber of commerce membership, local sponsorships, association directories, community event coverage and relationships with nearby non-competing businesses. Locally relevant links are worth more for local rankings than generic high-DR placements.

Map Pack grid tracking

Most tools report one average local ranking. We track a geographic grid across the metro, so you can see that you rank #2 in Maitland but #14 in Kissimmee — and we target the work accordingly.

FAQs

Local SEO questions, answered

Google Business Profile changes are often re-crawled within days, so profile-driven improvements can show in the Map Pack within four to eight weeks. Geo page rankings usually take two to four months to stabilise, and competitive suburbs with entrenched competitors can take six months or more. Local SEO is generally the fastest-moving SEO discipline — which is why we start there for service businesses.

No, and creating fake addresses is a fast route to a suspended profile. What you need is a legitimate address for your actual business location, a correctly defined service area in your Business Profile, and genuinely useful pages for each area you cover. Distance still matters for the Map Pack, so a business in downtown Orlando will rank more easily in downtown searches — but organic local results are winnable across the metro.

We handle reinstatements regularly. The process starts with identifying the likely cause — address issues, category violations, keyword stuffing in the business name, or an ineligible business model — correcting it, then filing the reinstatement request with supporting documentation. Most cases resolve within two to three weeks, though some require escalation.

Yes. Multi-location work adds a layer: each location needs its own Business Profile, its own location page with unique content, and location-specific reviews and citations, while the site architecture prevents locations from competing with each other. We have consolidated five-site location groups into a single well-structured domain with all locations ranking independently.

Both. Review count and average rating are established local ranking factors, and review recency and velocity appear to matter as well. Separately, the difference in click-through between a 4.8-star listing with 120 reviews and a 4.2-star listing with 11 reviews is enormous. We treat reviews as an operations problem to be systematised, not a favour to ask occasionally.
